Business Leaders Must Learn from the Global South

Over the past couple weeks, I have been struggling with staying consistent. The global economy continues to destroy the environment with increasing carbon pollutants, but there is some progress being made.

During my time at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I learned that business leaders need to study what is happening outside of the United States. Other regions of the world are experiencing climate change at a much more rapid pace than some western countries. So last week, I found the Global Climate Database. “The database lists each person’s area of expertise, institutional affiliation, contact details and other relevant information.”

Then, I reached out to many of the contacts involved in industry, reforestation, and geographical studies of the environment. Business leaders of our generation have a duty to rebuild the natural environment after so many businesses of the past were negligent. I hope to learn a lot from my new connections at the Global South Database, especially on how Forever Flight Worldwide can help with reforestation projects.
