Integrating New Renewables

Since the future aviation system will need much more electricity at individual airports, the energy system at airports need new sources of clean energy. One of the most consistent and useful sources of clean energy is geothermal energy.

Right now geothermal energy is being used in the West Coast of the United States and has a couple of practical uses within the aviation industry. Forever Flight is connecting with the leaders in American geothermal energy to help solve their pain points and advance the green economy.

Geothermal energy has many practical uses within the aviation system but here are two in particular. The first is a geothermal sourced heat pump. Since airports use a lot of energy to heat and cool their terminals, we should use geothermal heat pumps to eliminate pesky electricity costs.

The second use is a geothermal sourced local electrolysis system. As green hydrogen planes come to market, they demand a lot of local electricity to create the clean hydrogen. Geothermal is a useful energy source to help satisfy those needs.
